Offer a program to our members.
Airlines, banks, transfer services, insurers, clinics, pharmacies, schools and stores that serve families across borders well are welcome to bring a program to the membership. TAS Member Services negotiates and runs every program on behalf of the houses of the family, and a program agreed once can reach members in all fifty states and Americans living abroad.
TAS Member ServicesQuestions about benefits.
How do I use a benefit?
Show your member card. It lives on your phone, and each program sets out how it is used in the place where you live.
Is there a fee for membership or for the programs?
Membership is free for the first 90 days. Where a program involves a purchase, such as a flight, a policy or a prescription, you pay the provider directly on the terms negotiated for members.
Do benefits differ from place to place?
Yes. Programs are arranged where members live, so the providers may differ from one state to another, and for Americans abroad from one country to another. Your card is the same everywhere, and every house of the family recognizes it.
Does my family share my benefits?
Children under 18 are included on a parent’s membership. Each adult in the household holds their own membership and their own card.
Who provides the insurance?
Licensed insurers in the place where you live. Membership is not insurance, and the insurer decides every policy and every claim.
Do you need to know my status to give me a benefit?
No. We never ask about immigration or residence status. A provider may ask for the documents its own rules require, and each program explains what those are.
What is free to everyone?
The guides, Scam Watch, the Consular Desk, referrals to free local help and the association network. No card is needed for any of them.
